If you are in London, you can’t miss Yohji Yamamoto exhibition at Victoria and Albert Museum: one of the most influential and enigmatic fashion designers of the last forty years. Yamamoto is a visionary designer who has made a vital contribution to fashion, challenging traditional norms of clothing with his avant-garde style. This is his first major solo show in the UK and is an installation-based retrospective showcasing over 80 women’s and menswear garments, which are most representative of his work. From 12 March – 10 July 2011 at the V&A.
To celebrate the opening of Yohji Yamamoto, the V&A are offering you the chance to win an exclusive trip to Paris. The prize includes front row seats to see Yohji Yamamoto’s Spring Summer 2012 collection at Paris Fashion Week, some thirty years after Yohji Yamamoto first showed his collection there, and a recently launched Canon IXUS digital camera. You just need to fill out a form and answer a simple question. Click HERE TO JOIN IN! Good luck! Below, my article in Brazilian News (newspaper circulated in UK to Portuguese speakers) about Yohji Yamamoto exhibition. Click HERE to read in Portuguese (pages 2,3)
